Dulwich College Beijing (DCB) is hosting two world music concerts next week: the first will feature a French folk band, and the second will feature music from Indonesia, Thailand, China, and Africa. Both concerts will be held in the Edward Alleyn Theater at DCB’s Legend Garden campus.
On Monday, May 20 at 7.30pm, enjoy a night of Bagad Britanic music presented by Bagad Elven, a traditional French folk band comprised of bagpipes, bombards, and drums. The playlist will feature folk songs mixed with modern performance.
Just three days later on Thursday, May 23, head back to hear musicians from the Central Conservatory perform a World Music Gala with pieces from Indonesia, Thailand, China, and Africa. Tickets for both concerts are available from the school’s receptionists, available at 6564 9000.
