Your kid won’t have to wear Doritos and Snickers bars to keep up with Gap’s latest collections; this year’s Gap X Junk Food collection in China for Summer 2013 has clothing items exclusive to China. This year’s Junk Food clothing designs at The Gap are “iconic,” featuring superheroes, bands, and famous movies for men and boys. Girls, who only wear cute pink things, have Hello Kitty designs.
While the collection was available only for boys last year, Gap has expanded this year’s collection to include more “Gap lovers,” so this year’s Junk Food collection features clothing for men, boys, and girls. Men’s clothing will include pop culture references to The Beatles, KISS, Batman, and other cool manly things, while boys can channel their inner superheroes with Superman, Batman, and Captain America. The boys’ collection also includes swimwear “cloak-esque beach towels.” For girls, there are Hello Kitty shirts, shorts, and leggings.
