The first-ever nationwide second-level heat alert was issued on Tuesday by the China Meteorological Administration according to a report in the China Daily. A second-level heat wave alert is the second highest out of four levels. High temperatures are expected to last till August 8th.
Southern China will be expected to have temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius from July 30 to Aug 8 as they have being experiencing unusually high temperatures. Although the warning seems to be more for the south, be sure to take the necessary precautions during this hot summer whether it is outdoors or indoors.
