The International Montessori Teaching Institute’s (IMTI) is offering a Montessori Teacher training program which may be of interest to Beijing parents who are exploring homeschooling, supporting their child’s learning or qualifying for a career in education. Designed for teaching 2 ½ – 6 year olds, the Early Childhood course is affiliated with the American Montessori Society (AMS) and accredited by MACTE, offering an internationally recognized qualification. IMTI offer a flexible year-round training schedule delivered with Chinese/English bilingual synchronous translations and includes English or Chinese manuals.
The course commences in Oct, April and July. The academic section of the course consisits of around 320 class hours followed by one year teaching in a classroom (known as practicum). The course can be completed within one year or the taken over a period of three years.
The fees are 52,000rmb which includes an application fee, course materials and three visits from our teachers to mentor and assess during the practicum stage.
