Tomorrow (Saturday) from 2pm to 6pm, a variety of dogs and cats from local shelters and rescuers in Beijing will be brought to the 20th Beijing Pet Adoption Day in search of permanent homes.
Winter is coming and you can keep a puppy from wandering in the cold if you meet the following requirements for adoption:
- A steady job and stable address
- A family supportive of adoption
- You promise to register the dog
- You agree to get vaccinate the dog and take it to the hospital when it’s sick
- You promise to wait until the animal is old enough before spaying/neutering
- You agree not to leave, discard or pass on the animal, and to keep in touch with its rescuers
- You sign an adoption contract and agree to allow follow-up visit
The organization Beijing Adoption Day requires all the puppies presented at the event to be healthy and have received vaccines. This is a great opportunity for you and your family to interact with those puppies and take a lucky dog or cat home.
The organization hold Adoption Days once a month at various animal-friendly venues around Beijing. You can follow then on Weibo and Weixin (lingyangri). When we uploaded this blog, part of the profiles for tomorrow’s puppies were already released on Weixin.
