As the season to be jolly approaches, the Rotary Club of Beijing will host its annual charity bazaar to raise money for various charities and causes. This year’s bazaar will be held at the newly refurbished Kempinski ballroom on November 9 & 10. A little spot of Christmas shopping, joy lifting Christmas carols, performance by students, a talk about technology and volunteering and a children arts auction are some of the things lined up for families.
Also in store is a kids’ corner that will be run by Artbug, My Gym and Eduwings Kindergarten. On hand will be volunteers from Rotaract and Interact to help keep an eye on the kids as parents shop as well as taste some wine and food. Feeling lucky? Join in the raffle action for a chance to win a business class round on Swiss Airlines, a luxury WEMPE watch, five star restaurant and hotel vouches and many more. The Kempinski will provide special meals at a discounted rate. As part of the fundraising for children and women charities around Beijing, there will be a silent auction and early bids are welcomed on items such as a WEMPE luxury watch, paintings by young upcoming artistes and more. The full list of items and the bidding process can be found here. The winning bids will be announced on the afternoon of November 10.
beijingkids is among the sponsors of this event and we will be having our own booth, drop in and say hi!
