Kick off the happy holidays at the 19th Annual Hilton Beijing Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony that will take place on Saturday November 30, 2013 at 6pm. In addition to the lighting of a three-story tall Christmas tree at the Hilton Beijing‘s lobby, there will be musical performances by choirs from the Yew Chung International School of Beijing and a Christmas Charity Bazaar that will begin from 2 to 8pm.
The "Hilton Beijing Christmas Train,” which is in its fourth year, will be launched at the same event. The train surrounds the Christmas tree for all to catch a glimpse of what in on display. The train display was built by an outside international team of engineers and artists, which will cover a 65 square meter winter landscape filled with cobble stone roads, cars, cozy homes, cafes, busy shops and town folks going about their daily lives while model trains wind their way through the mountain and village tracks.
There is going to be a Christmas village that is hand carved by two professional artists where a Charity Bazaar will take place for guests to hunt for a Christmas gift while contributing to the community.
This event is free to attend. For more information, call 5865 5125, or e-mail Shirley.Shi1@hilton.com
