Christmas is here, well almost. The holiday charity bazaars might be winding down as the month draws to a close but Beijing’s tree lighting ceremonies are kicking off this weekend. The Fairmont Beijing’s Tree Lighting ceremony will be taking place on December 1 from 3pm to 7pm. Fairmont’s tree is estimated to be over 7 meters high and the lobby of the hotel will be transformed into a winter wonderland.
This year guests can take their children to meet Santa and have a family portrait taken, balloon twisting, face painting, Christmas Caroling, Cupcake decorating. Snacks will be provided and there will be mulled wine, and gingerbread cookies that will sold that the life-size gingerbread house in the lobby.
Register early to attend for free while walk-ins will be charged RMB 80. RSVP through the following email address, Charlie.wang@fairmont.com.
