There are hundreds of animals hoping to find loving homes in Beijing. If you are considering adopting a pet, Doggy/Moggy of the Week will feature animals from volunteer shelters, animal rescue groups, foster care providers, and pet owners needing to rehome animals. This week’s moggy, Boo Boo Kitty, is from ICVS’ Adoptable Pets.
Name: Hi everyone, I am Boo Boo Kitty.
Background: I am a rescued stray kitten who’s ready for adoption. My foster mommy, Mrs. Zhang, takes care of a stray cat colony and found me one day. She is caring for me in her home and is giving me good food and has taken me to ICVS for my health examination. The ICVS vets say I am healthy and can go to my new family anytime.
Personality: I am fun and very social. I am a kitten so I love to play, play and play. I am curious and fearless and can stand my ground with the big cats. I will make a very loving, lifelong companion for the right family.
Ideal home: I am hoping for a loving forever home with a couple or family with or without children (e.g., 10-years or older).
Breed: Domestic short hair, Torby (Tabby and Tortoise Shell mix)
Licensing: Cats do not need to be licensed.
Sex & Age: I am a little girl of about 8-10 weeks old.
Medical notes: I have had my first feline distemper vaccination and have been dewormed. Once I complete my vaccinations, I can be spayed. The International Center for Veterinary Services is providing significant 50% discounts on my examinations, vaccinations and spay surgery.

The adoption family will receive significant discounts of up to 50% on examinations, vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery. ICVS will issue Boo Boo Kitty the official Beijing Animal Health and Immunity Certificate (e.g., vaccination red book) after her rabies vaccination. The vaccination red book is needed to prove legal vaccinations and to take pets overseas or to other cities in China.
