There are hundreds of animals hoping to find loving homes in Beijing. If you are considering adopting a pet, Doggy/Moggy of the Week will feature animals from volunteer shelters, animal rescue groups, foster care providers, and pet owners needing to rehome animals. This week’s doggies, Eenee, Meenee, Minee and Moe, are from ICVS’ Adoptable Pets.
Name: Hi everyone, I am Cuma.
Background: I was rescued by my foster parents, Tai and Chris, after I was hit by a car. I was taken to a local animal hospital and treated for my injuries. I am now doing fine and am hoping to find a permanent forever home where I would be a happy, healthy and loving companion.
Personality: I am affectionate and social and like to be around people, often lying next to my human companions where they work or relax. I enjoy walking outdoors, meeting new friends (both human and animals) and getting hugs. I really enjoy sleeping and playing, equally.
Ideal home: I am hoping for a loving forever home. As I am an adult dog and well socialized I would be fine with a single person, a couple or family with children (e.g., 8-years or older).
Breed: Small mixed breed, maybe part Maltese.
Licensing: As a small dog, I may be legally registered in any district in Beijing.
Sex & Age: I am a young neutered male dog, about 4-years old.
Medical notes: I have been to the vets at ICVS and am dewormed and completing my vaccinations. The International Center for Veterinary Services is providing significant 50% discounts on my examinations and vaccinations.

ICVS will issue Cuma the official Beijing Animal Health and Immunity Certificate (e.g., vaccination red book) after his rabies vaccination. The vaccination red book is needed to prove legal vaccinations and to take pets overseas or to other cities in China.
