In August 2005, Dulwich College first opened its doors to students in Beijing. Since then the College has grown and now has three campuses with approximately 1,450 students on roll ranging in age from 12 months to 18 years. The school has outstanding ICT facilities with an extremely modern approach. They have a one-to-one laptop policy for students in Years 8 and higher and utilize a Virtual Learning Environment for the entire student faculty. Dulwich College Beijing is accredited by the Council of International Schools and Western Association of School and Colleges, and was named British International School of the Year 2011. The school is grounded in the 400 years of educational excellence and innovation of our founding and partner school, Dulwich College London and part of the Dulwich network of schools in Shanghai, Suzhou, Seoul and Singapore (2014).

This program is available to limited number of students aged 9 – 14 (Years 5 – 9 / Grades 4 – 8).
School facilities: Extensive sports facilities including a sports dome, a multi-purpose sports hall, six tennis courts, football pitch, rugby pitch and cricket pitch. We chose Dulwich College Beijing for our daughters because of the outstanding international British programme that is well balanced in academics, sports, drama and music. We also liked that although the main language is English, DCB offers mandatory Mandarin Chinese as well as additional Spanish, French and German as European languages. We are very happy that our daughters can enjoy the advantages of an international education and simultaneously be prepared for returning to university in Germany. University counselors at Dulwich also start talking with parents and students as early as in Year 11 (Grade 10), alongside organizing a series of talks about university choices designed to make the whole process less stressful as you feel more educated and better prepared. As a parent who likes to be involved, I really enjoy the community feel at Dulwich and my volunteer hours at the parent run Coffee and Books café at the school. Parents are selling coffee and homemade cakes; it’s all great fun for a worthy cause.
