Our sister magazine, the Beijinger, is kicking off its annual Burger Cup on Saturday, August 23 with a Burger Festival Launch Partyat Lido’s Tube Station Pizza. In previous years, the event featured a cook-off between finalists, but this year’s Burger Cup begins with a Burger Festival. It’s like a backyard barbecue with all your friends, except better because you don’t have to sweat over the grill or clean up afterwards. In addition, there will be a number of family-friendly features this year.
To fuel the fun, young ones can play in the kids’ area (pictured). After working up a sweat in the process, they can take a dip in the kids’ pool.
Get your vocal cords ready because there will also be a karaoke station with songs in English and Chinese. If a sugar fix or kid-friendly drink is in order, cotton candy and sodas, including Coke and Fanta, will be on sale.
With 15 local burger vendors, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and lots of activities for the whole family, what more are you waiting for?
