This year, FOBISIA (Federation of British International Schools in Asia) Music Festival is being held at Harrow International School and will showcase the talents of some of the finest young musicians in Asia. This year over 200 musicians from ten British schools throughout Asia will participate in FOBISIA. The music festival officially kicked off yesterday, and will culminate on Monday, November 17 with a Gala Concert at 6pm and is open to the whole Beijing community.
In previous years, the FOBISIA has been held in Southeast Asian countries, most recently at Garden International School in Thailand. Students and teachers take part in workshops, ensembles, and rehearsals for the final concert.
