Doing some early school shopping? This Saturday, November 22, newly opened Keystone Academy will hold an open house for prospective families. Interested families have the chance to tour the campus, meet Keystone’s founding leadership team, and can chat with teachers and faculty members on hand to answer questions. Furthermore, current Keystone students will speak at the open day about their experience as a Keystone student. Following the meet-and-greet, families can take a tour the school. The event takes place at Keystone’s campus from 10am-noon.
Keystone Academy opened to much fanfare in September and offers a new schooling option to families, blending Chinese and American instructional techniques of inquiry based learning, critical thinking, and creative problem solving in a rigorous learning environment. The school serves students in Grade 1-12 with a bilingual curriculum in the primary years and more intensive instruction in English as students progress through the program. The school’s boarding and residential program is also inherent to Keystone’s educational philosophy, with boarding school optional for Grade 7 and 8 students and mandatory for Grade 9-12.
