Last Friday, Beijing International Bilingual School (BIBA) celebrated the school’s annual winter concert. Students from kindergarten to Grade 10 participated in the event after months of planning and rehearsals. For the second year in a row, BIBA held its winter concert at the Beijing Concert Hall featuring singing and music performances, art, and stage shows.
The art department prepared a show to welcome guests on arrival to the concert showcasing student works in various mediums such as painting, drawing, and sculpture. Students sang traditional holiday songs from Deck the Halls and Oh Christmas Tree to a Christmas Rhapsody and an original composition by BIBA’s Grade 5 students, Winter Carnival.
BIBA credits its music teachers for their dedication to making the 2014 Winter Concert a success. The school also gives thanks to Dr. Good, director of arts and Lily Yang, director of marketing and admissions “for their unwavering vision in creating another spectacular concert at BIBA.”
