The Beijing International School Expo 2015 is sponsored by HealthPro.
With over 40 schools exhibiting at this weekend’s Beijing International School Expo (Jan 24 & 25 at the Kerry), you’re probably wondering how you’ll get the face time with the school reps you’ll need to make an informed decision.
Here’s a few pointers on beating the crowds, based on our experience from three previous years’ fairs:
— The morning is usually more crowded. Come after lunch if you want to come at a less busy time.
— The first day (Saturday) is usually busier than the second day, so plan a Sunday visit if you want fewer parents in front of you as you approach school administrators.
— Expats might be more interested in visiting Sunday rather than Saturday, as we’ve lined up expat-oriented, English-language lectures (on local schools and multicultural parenting) that day.
We’ll have ample professional security at the venue to ensure safety, and we will be limiting the number of visitors to a maximum of 400 at any one given time
In the unlikely event that capacity is reached, security guards and staff will direct guests to other nearby attractions (luckily there are plenty within walking distance) where they can wait until the BISE’s crowds thin out.
