There are hundreds of animals hoping to find loving homes in Beijing. If you are considering adopting a pet, Doggy/Moggy of the Week will feature animals from volunteer shelters, animal rescue groups, foster care providers, and pet owners needing to rehome animals. This week’s doggies are from ICVS’ Adoptable Pets.
Name: Hi Everyone, our names are Teddy, Charlie, Luna, Penny, Rosie, Cleo and Dixie
Background: We are a rescued litter of puppies currently living in a shelter and looked after by very kind volunteers.
Personality: We are sweet and playful puppies. Some of us are more outgoing and some of us are a bit shy. We would love to meet you and you can decide which one of us would be the best match for your families.
Ideal home: We would be fine with individual owners, couples or families with older children (e.g., 6 years and older).
Breed: We are small to medium mixed breed dogs.
Sex and Age: We are two male and five female puppies, born January 2015.
Medical notes: We have had our first canine distemper vaccination and need to complete our puppy vaccinations.
Post-adoption care: The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) has enrolled all of us into their Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Pet Adoption Benefits Program. ICVS will provide our new families with significant discounts (up to 50%) on our health examinations, vaccinations and neuter/spay surgeries during our first year of live with our new adoption families.
Official Vaccination Certificate: With our rabies vaccination at ICVS, they will issue our new families an official Beijing Animal Health and Immunity Certificate (e.g., vaccination red book) at no charge! ICVS vaccination red books are the gold standard in China and we need these official vaccination red books to prove we have been legally and properly rabies vaccinated. We must have these official vaccination red books in order to move to another city or to leave China with our families.
Adult Dog and Puppy Obedience Training Programs at ICVS: ICVS has introduced new puppy and adult dog obedience training programs. The puppy training classes will help us and our families live more harmonious lives together! All profits from the puppy and adult dog training programs will be donated to the ICVS Non-Profit Humane Animal Welfare Programs! Please contact ICVS for more information about puppy training and canine obedience training.
ICVS Non-Profit Humane Animal Welfare Programs: Please support and donate to the ICVS Non-Profit Humane Animal Welfare Programs:
