Name: Hey Beijing, my name is Gigi.
Background: I was rescued from a construction site by a group of rescue volunteers. I am happy and relieved to have found a foster family with my foster mom, Monica, but she is leaving the country soon. My rescuers and foster mom hope to find me a loving permanent adoption home as soon as possible.
Personality: I am sweet, loving, and trusting. I like snuggling and cuddling with people because I am social. Happy and playful, I will love you with all my heart.
Ideal home: I would be happy with an individual owner, a couple or a family with older children (e.g., 6-years and older).
Breed: I am a small mixed breed dog.
Sex and age: I am a girl, and am about 2 months old.
Medical notes: My wonderful rescuers, Ms. Renata and Ms. Iwona will cover my initial examinations and vaccinations, deworming and flea and tick preventives. ICVS has provided discounts of 50 percent on my examinations and vaccinations and will test me for canine viral diseases and perform blood tests at no cost to ensure I am healthy and free of infectious diseases and can find a permanent adoption family as soon as possible.
Post-adoption care: The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) has enrolled me into their Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Pet Adoption Benefits Program. ICVS will provide my new family with significant discounts (up to 50 percent) on our health examinations, vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries during my first year of life with my new family.
Official Vaccination Certificate: With my rabies vaccinations, ICVS will issue my new family the official Beijing Animal Health and Immunity Certificate (e.g., vaccination red book) at no charge. I need the official vaccination red book to prove I have been legally and properly rabies vaccinated and to move to another city or to leave China with my family.
Official Spay/Neuter Certificate for Dogs: After my spay surgery, ICVS will issue my adoption family with the official Spay/Neuter Certificate that will provide my owners with a 50 percent discount (e.g., up to RMB 500.00 savings) on my dog license registration fee at the Public Security Bureau.
Puppy and Dog Training Classes: ICVS offers puppy and dog training classes to help me live a more harmonious and happy life with my family. Classes may be offered at ICVS or at home. Please contact ICVS for more information on puppy and dog training: www.ICVSASIA.com
Pet Import/Export Counseling: A pet is for life and ICVS will provide my family with unlimited relocation counseling and accurate information to take me with them when it is time to move to another city or to fly overseas.
Door-to-Door Pet Transport Service: ICVS can help my new family arrange for a car and driver service to take me door-to-door for my vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, boarding, grooming, obedience training and other appointments at the hospital. Contact ICVS: www.ICVSASIA.com
