If you are looking for a Valrhona chocolate and banana Cake then The Ritz-Carlton will be the place to get that smooth, rich, dense cake from May 4-10. This is in efforts to raise funds for The Smile Mission for the second year in a row. The funds will go towards paying for the medical needs of children with clefts lips or palate around Asia.
The funding raising efforts are going to take place across all The Ritz-Carlton hotels in the Asia Pacific region. However, the flavors are different as they have been adapted to local tastes and preferences. Currently, the only option available in Beijing is getting the cake directly at the two branches and a pre-order is RMB 288 for a 500g cake. This will be the retailing price as well.
