Name: Hello, my name is Roger.
Background: My wonderful foster family is leaving China end of June and is hoping to find me a permanent loving home. My foster dad says: “Roger found us – not the other way around. This little fella arrived at our doorstep with a meow and begged to be let in. It was clear that he knew if he was going to survive in this world with his pint-size body and slight cross-eyes – he would need help from some human buddies. Basically he knew he needed a home. He is a very sweet cat, who is very affectionate and loves nothing more than to be rubbed and petted. This alone makes him different from other strays… he loves human contact.
Personality: Roger has a lovely personality and is happy as an indoor and outdoor cat. We are keeping him indoors.
Ideal home: He would be happy with an individual, a couple or a family with older children (e.g., 8 years and older). He will make someone very happy, and be the perfect little companion.
Breed: Roger is a grey and white domestic short-hair cat.
Sex and age: We estimate he is only about 6-8 months old and was definitely the runt of mum’s litter. He has grown a bit though and is now very much a house-trained cat as well. He will make someone very happy, and be the perfect little companion.
Medical notes: My foster family has already started me on my vaccinations. I will be neutered soon and will be all ready to join my new family.
Post-adoption care: The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) has enrolled me into their Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Pet Adoption Benefits Program. ICVS will provide my new family with significant discounts (up to 50%) on my health examinations and vaccinations during my first year of life with our new family.
Official Vaccination Certificate: With my next rabies vaccination, ICVS will issue my new family the official Beijing Animal Health and Immunity Certificate (e.g., vaccination red book) at no charge! I need the official vaccination red book to prove I have been legally and properly rabies vaccinated to move to another city or to leave China with my family.
Pet Import/Export Counseling: ICVS will provide my family with unlimited relocation counseling and accurate information to take me with them when it is time to move to another city or to another country.
Door-to-Door Pet Transport Service: ICVS can help our new family arrange for a car and driver service to take us door-to-door for my appointments at the hospital! Contact ICVS: www.ICVSASIA.com
