There are hundreds of animals hoping to find loving homes in Beijing. If you are considering adopting a pet, Doggy/Moggy of the Week will feature animals from volunteer shelters, animal rescue groups, foster care providers, and pet owners needing to rehome animals. This week’s doggy is from ICVS’ Adoptable Pets.
Name: Good morning Beijing, my name is Litchi.
Background: I was born to a Poodle mommy and a small breed dog daddy. My mommy raised me until I was 6 weeks old and fully weaned. I am now 8 weeks old and ready to meet my new forever adoption family.
Personality: I am adorable beyond words. Come and meet at ICVS! I am fun, playful, smart and full of energy. I am learning to use wee wee pads and love to run and play with my people.
Ideal home: Litchi would be happy with an individual, a couple or a family with older children (e.g., 8 years and older). She is an absolute delight and will be a loving and loyal companion for life.
Breed: Litchi is a poodle/mix-breed dog. She will be a small breed dog and may be registered in any district in Beijing.
Sex and age: She is 8-weeks old, healthy, energetic and so much fun.
Medical notes: Already dewormed and has had her first distemper vaccination. She will continue to complete her vaccination series at ICVS and then she can be spayed.
Post-adoption care: The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) has enrolled her into their Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Pet Adoption Benefits Program. ICVS will provide her new family with significant discounts (up to 50%) on her health examinations and vaccinations and spay surgery during the first year of her life with her new family.
Official Vaccination Certificate: With her rabies vaccination, ICVS will issue her new family the official Beijing Animal Health and Immunity Certificate (e.g., vaccination red book) at no charge. She needs the official vaccination red book to prove she has been legally and properly rabies vaccinated to move to another city or to leave China with her family.
Pet Import/Export Counseling: ICVS will provide her family with unlimited relocation counseling and accurate information to take her with them when it is time to move to another city or to another country.
Door-to-Door Pet Transport Service: ICVS can help her new family arrange for a car and driver service to take them door-to-door for her appointments at the hospital. Contact ICVS: www.ICVSASIA.com
