There are hundreds of animals hoping to find loving homes in Beijing. If you are considering adopting a pet, Doggy/Moggy of the Week will feature animals from volunteer shelters, animal rescue groups, foster care providers, and pet owners needing to rehome animals. This week’s wabbits are from ICVS’ Adoptable Pets.
Name: Hi everyone, my name is Bobi.
Background: I was abandoned in Wangjing and found my way to the front door of ICVS. I saw all these other dogs going in and out of ICVS on their daily walks and thought it was a fun place for dogs and would be a cool place to hang out. So I scratched at the glass door until they let me in. My family at ICVS has taken me in and cared for me as one of their own. I have my own private quarantine room and am enjoying yummy Royal Canin puppy food. I am a smart little puppy and will be your loving life-long companion if you would like to adopt me.
Sex & Age: Bobi is a male puppy about 3-months old. He still has his baby teeth and enjoys chew toys very much.
Personality: I am incredibly smart, very sweet, playful, full of energy and love people and other animals. I am already housebroken! I am learning to walk on leash and adore people and other dogs.
Ideal home: Bobi would be happy with an individual, a couple, or a family with older children (6 years and older). He loves other dogs and would get along wonderfully with other household pets.
Breed: Bobi is a small mixed breed dog. He should be able to be registered in any district in Beijing.
Medical notes: Bobi has already been dewormed and treated for fleas and ticks. He will begin his vaccinations at ICVS as of last week (at the time of this publication that was July 27-August 1).
Post-adoption care: The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) has enrolled me into their Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Pet Adoption Benefits Program. ICVS will provide my new family with significant discounts (up to 50%) on my health examinations and vaccinations and neuter surgery during my first year of life with my new family.
