Who doesn’t love a good Aussie BBQ and a couple of brewskis? This Saturday August 29 from 5-7pm, EAST, Beijing will host a free flow Aussie BBQ and Great Leap Brewing craft beer event in collaboration with Great Leap Brewing, and Plastered 8, at Xian Bar, EAST, Beijing. Every RMB raised through the event will go toward the New Life Center (NLC).
NLC, founded in 2001, is a is a Shunyi-based foster home and learning center for orphaned and underprivileged children from broken homes or migrant families. The goal for Saturday’s BBQ is to raise more than RMB 42,000 and pay the center’s housing and heating bills for this coming winter.
This is bound to be an evening of amazing food and beers from EAST’s Chef Rob Cunningham and Great Leap Brewing. Tickets are RMB 200 (for adults and kids – there are no discounts on kids’ tickets, as this is a fundraiser). There are plenty of tickets available, so contact Great Leap Brewing or EAST, Beijing to reserve your spot!
There’ll also be the chance to bid on amazing prizes including meals at Opera Bombana, Mosto, Agua, Migas, Sureno, Jing Yaa Tang, and more.
