There are hundreds of animals hoping to find loving homes in Beijing. If you are considering adopting a pet, Doggy/Moggy of the Week will feature animals from volunteer shelters, animal rescue groups, foster care providers, and pet owners needing to rehome animals. This week’s moggy is from ICVS’ Adoptable Pets.
Introduction: Hi everyone! My name is Xiao Huang.
Background: I was stray cat rescued by a very kind vet at ICVS. I am a sweet and socialized young cat and I am ready for adoption. I will be a loving member of your family and hope you will consider taking me home.
Personality: I am a very smart and playful cat. I love other cats and like to play with anything that comes my way. I am not afraid of people or other cats.
Ideal home: I am hoping to find a loving family where I can give everyone lots of cuddles. I would prefer a home with older children (8 years and older) and no dogs. Other cats would be fine!
Breed: I’m a short hair orange tiger tabby.
Sex and age: I am a young male cat, about 1 year old.
Medical notes: I am very healthy and have already been dewormed, treated for fleas and ticks, vaccinated and neutered by my vets at ICVS.
Post-adoption care: I’m fortunate because The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) has enrolled me in their Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Pet Adoption Benefits Program. ICVS will provide my new family with significant discounts (up to 50%) on my health examinations and vaccinations during my first year of life with my new family!
Official Vaccination Certificate: With my rabies vaccination, ICVS will issue my new family with an official Beijing Animal Health and Immunity Certificate (e.g. Vaccination red book) at no charge! I need this official vaccination red book to prove I have been legally and properly rabies vaccinated. I must have his official vaccination red book in order to move to another city or to leave China with my new family.
