Well, the good news part about vertical running is the view at the top; the bad news is you have to run over 40 floors to get to that view. Vertical Running, yes this is a new sport that take minutes to complete takes place around some of the world’s iconic buildings across three continents. Under the International Skyrunning Federation, there Vertical World Circuit is set to take place tomorrow at the China World Summit Hotel tomorrow. The building has 82 floors, which translates to 2,041 steps.
The race is open to anyone who’s fit enough to withstand the constant torture that the legs will have (or not) to endure. However, registration for this leg is now done. But there’s a Shanghai (October 25) and Hong Kong (December 6) legs left to try if you’re looking for something fun, challenging, and out of the ordinary thing to do.
