Let’s be honest for a minute, Daxing district isn’t worth exploring. This changed when it was announced last week that a Teddy Bear Museum was in the works. The news is a welcomed relief as people look for new places in Beijing to explore, the only hiccup is that there isn’t an official opening date but construction is expected to be completed by May 2016 according to a Xinhua News Agency.
China’s Tianyou Wentou signed an agreement with the Great British Teddy Bear Company, manufacturer of Teddy Bear. There’s one other Teddy Bear Museum in Chengdu that shows movies and incorporates Chinese features such as giant pandas and the Great Wall. The museum in Beijing is aiming to teach kids to leave a low-carbon footprint through the use of green building techniques park and a Teddy theme hotel.
