There are hundreds of animals hoping to find loving homes in Beijing. If you are considering adopting a pet, Doggy/Moggy of the Week will feature animals from volunteer shelters, animal rescue groups, foster care providers, and pet owners needing to rehome animals. This week’s kittens, Stracciatello and Lucky, are from ICVS’ Adoptable Pets.
Introduction: Hi everyone, our names are Stracciatello and Lucky.
Background: Our momma was a stray cat rescued from the streets. Our kind rescuer did not know momma was pregnant. Now, our home is too small for four cats. The original house cat is feeling very overwhelmed so us kittens are hoping to be adopted as soon as possible.
Personality: We are both very sweet, playful and healthy. Stracciatello, the boy, is a energetic and outgoing kitten. Lucky, the little girl, is gentle and sweet and slightly shy. We will bring our new families lots of love and lifelong companionship.
Ideal home: We are fine with an individual owner or couple, or a family with children (e.g., 10-years and older). Ideally we would like to stay together but we can also live separately and with other cats.
Breed: Stracciatello is a short-haired black and white cat. Lucky is a short-haired calico cat with mostly white fur.
Sex and age: Stracciatello is a male kitten. Lucky is a female kitten. We are about 5 months old.
Medical notes: We are healthy and once we complete our kitten vaccinations, we can be spayed and neutered!
Post-adoption care: The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) has enrolled us in their Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Pet Adoption Benefits Program. ICVS will provide our new family with significant discounts (up to 50%) on our health examinations and vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries during the first year of life with our new family!
Official Vaccination Certificate: With our rabies vaccination, ICVS will issue our new family with the official Beijing Animal Health and Immunity Certificate (e.g. Vaccination red book) at no charge! We need these official vaccination red books to prove we have been legally and properly rabies vaccinated. We must have this official vaccination red book in order to move to another city or to leave China with our new families.
Pet Import/Export Counseling: ICVS will provide our families with unlimited relocation counseling and accurate information so we can go with them when it is time to move to another city or to relocate to another country.
Contact information: If you would like to meet Stracciatello and Lucky and learn more about them, please contact, Barbara (English) at +86 137 0120 1956.
ICVS Non-Profit Humane Animal Welfare Programs:
Please support and donate to the ICVS Non-Profit Humane Animal Welfare Programs. Your donations support ICVS in helping the many pets like Bubi and the many stray/rescued/abandoned and shelter animals in our community. The pets receive medical care, treatments, good nutrition and socialization with love and compassion that allows them to become healthy adoptable pets.
