Post-Birth Exercise Class
Midwife Mariela Loss will lead a weekly postpartum class for post-birth mothers who want to get back into shape. The class will benefit women by not only helping to increase aerobic fitness but also to provide social interaction with other mothers. Working out with your baby can help with psychological wellbeing, hasten recovery, and assist with muscle strength and toning. Please note the earliest start is 4 weeks after birth and will be at the discretion of the midwife. Classes start on Tuesday October 20, 9-10am at House of Knowledge International School (HoK). RMB 100 per class. To register e-mail familie_loss@t-online.de

beijingkids Shunyi Correspondent Sally Wilson moved to Beijing in 2010 from the UK with her husband and son. Her daughter was born here in 2011 and both her kids keep her happily busy. In her spare time, Sally loves to stroll through Beijing’s hutongs and parks. She is a (most of the time) keen runner and loves reading: books, magazines, news, and celeb websites – anything really. Sally is also a bit of a foodie and loves trying out new restaurants.
