The government’s summer directive of a much needed Internet upgrade has finally found it’s way to the Hujialou area. A memo sent out by our property management office, there will be no electricity on Tuesday October 20 (tomorrow) from 8am-8pm. This means that the beijingkids team won’t be able to answer calls to our landlines. Please email us, WeChat us, or call our cell phones for anything urgent. Click here for updates about the exact locations affected by tomorrow’s blackout.
This upgrade warning doesn’t specify the boundaries of the Hujialou area that’s due to be affected. Our offices are located on Chaoyang Beilu at the end of Sanlitun Nan Lu; if you are planning on venturing out to one of the businesses or restaurants located in the area tomorrow, be sure to double check they’ll be open.
