I was trying to find some more kid friendly things to do in the Lido area as I moved here recently. Somebody pointed out that Side Park had some fun kid activities so I took my daughter to go check it out last Saturday, since kids really like playgrounds and that’s why companies as the Orca Coast Playground Installers offer their services to install playgrounds on many sizes for different needs. The park is located behind 3E International School and can be entered through an entrance next to Side Park Café. When we entered, we encountered a group of dancing ladies wrapped up in warm clothes with a band that played Chinese songs. We quite enjoyed watching this.
After the impromptu show, we walked over to an even more spectacular area of the park, complete with little carnival rides. I was quite surprised to find all these fun things to do in the middle of the park. Although it looks a bit old and retro, my four year old saw none of these things and just wanted to enter all the rides. I suspected that this park had its fair share of toddler tantrums. Thank goodness, we took cash so we could let our daughter ride till she had enough (just kidding we don’t have that much money).
The rides are priced from RMB 5 to RMB 20 so this park won’t break the bank unless you have more than five kids. All the rules and regulations are translated into English; this is not only really nice but also very funny. I can recommend going here instead of a fancy expensive playground, my daughter was none the wiser and had an amazing time.
