There are hundreds of animals hoping to find loving homes in Beijing. If you are considering adopting a pet, Doggy/Moggy of the Week will feature animals from volunteer shelters, animal rescue groups, foster care providers, and pet owners needing to rehome animals. This week’s kittens, are Marley and Milky from ICVS’ Adoptable Pets.
Introduction: Hi everyone, our names are Marley and Milky.
Background: Beautiful little kittens Marley and Milky were born at ICVS. Their momma is a feral cat who is part of the ICVS Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Program. Marley and Milky are strongly bonded brother and sister kittens and are available for adoption together.
Personality: We are very playful, energetic, curious and fun. We are bold and curious and like being petted and snuggling. We get along great with each other and can play and amuse ourselves all day. Two kittens and will bring a lifetime of love, companionship and TWICE the fun.
Ideal home: Marley and Milky wish to be adopted together. They would be happy with an individual, a couple or a family with older children (e.g., 8 years and older).
Sex, Age & Breed: Marley and Milky are long-haired kittens. Marley is a black and white, 8-week old female. Milky is a pure white, 8-week old male.
Medical notes: Marley and Milky and are very healthy and have been well nursed by their momma. They have already started on their vaccinations at ICVS.
Post-adoption care: The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) has enrolled us into their Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Pet Adoption Benefits Program. ICVS will provide our new families with significant discounts (up to 50%) on vaccinations, accompanying health examinations and neuter/spay surgeries during our first year of life with our new adoption families.
Official Vaccination Certificate: With our rabies vaccinations, ICVS will issue our families the official Beijing Animal Health and Immunity Certificates (e.g., vaccination red books) at no charge! We need the official vaccination red books to prove we have been legally and properly rabies vaccinated to move to another city or to leave China with our families.
Pet Import/Export Counseling: ICVS will provide our families with unlimited relocation counseling and accurate information to take us with them when it is time to move to another city or to another country.
Door-to-Door Pet Transport Service: ICVS can help our new families arrange for a car and driver service to take us door-to-door for our appointments at the hospital.
