It’s often like a trip to another world in those brief moments when you gain insight into the imagined universes of a child. The German Preschool class of the House of Knowledge International School created artwork based off of the prompt “What I think is in outer space.”
These students requested to submit their artwork to the beijingkids, and we are publishing them here for the community to view in their honor.
Madelyn: In space, I see planets and stars and the moon. There are 8 planets and there is the big sun too!
Jonas: I see stars, galaxies, aliens, space shuttles and the international space station; there is also star constellation like the small bear. There are shooting stars called meteors and astronauts are there and space rubbish.
Leandro: In space is the sun, earth and the smallest planet Pluto.
Kaito: Space…there is the moon, stars, the earth and the mars. That’s all I think!
Karla: In space I can see a horse planet, astronauts, who are flying to the international space station.
Anna: In space there are Astronauts, but I not really sure what they are doing there. I just know they are flying with their rocket to the space station.
Lele: All planets are flying around the sun. Stars can be connected together to make a nice picture.
Malte: In space are stars, a sun, planets, and the earth. Also, stones called asteroids, rockets, the moon and the Milk Way, more I don’t know!
Maximilian: In space you can find stars, the earth, and the moon. There is a half moon and a quarter moon and a new moon.
Wen Wen: There are astronauts who are cutting trees in space! And the stars are shining in space.
Constantin: There are stones and planets.
