Ayis are part of the family. They spend a lot of time in your home making sure your family is taken care of. They sometimes care for your kids who know where to get that tempting cookie. Kids are little accidents magnets but sometimes they attract the big mishaps that can mean the difference between life and death.
If your ayi’s gut reaction is to look for someone to sort out an emergency then its best to get them trained as your beloved children are in their hands. First aid training is important because it equips a person to know that if the worst happens they can recover from the shock quicker than the untrained person.
On September 24, Oasis International Hospital is offering a one-day course specially designed for ayis or nannies from 8.30am to noon. The course will cover the basics such as what first aid is, phoning for help, first aid kit, what to do during medical emergencies such as fever, choking, falls; injury emergencies like bleeding, drowning, burns; environmental emergencies such as bites and stings, heat strokes, poison and many more in each of those categories.
This course will cost RMB 300 and the peace of mind is worth it when heading out of the house and leaving your caretaker with the children. There are limited spaces therefore sign up by emailing Ashley.gaul@oasishealth.cn
