On 14 September budding Messis and Neuers from the city’s international community came together at Beijing City International School (BCIS), for the Under 11s Football Exchange.
21 teams from ten schools played over 30 games of soccer in a friendly tournament. Darren Smith, Athletic Director at BCIS, told us: “We saw plenty of good play, good sportsmanship and a great many people, players and adults having fun out there.”
Apart from hosts BCIS, the schools taking part were Beijing International Bilingual Academy (BIBA), Beanstalk International Bilingual School (BIBS), British School of Beijing (BSB) Sanlitun, Canadian International School of Beijing (CISB), Daystar Academy, Harrow International School Beijing, Hope International School of Beijing, the International Montessori School of Beijing (MSB), and Yew Chung International School (YCIS) Beijing.
