As it will soon be the National Day Holiday, most schools are getting into a quiet rest with no events. However, the British Motorsports Festival is providing a unique day out for the whole family at the Goldenport International Circuit very close to Shunyi.

For all ages, activities will include club speedsters, car fans, karting enthusiasts, anglophiles, young adults, and kids alike. Leading British car brands, including Jaguar Land Rover, McLaren, Morgan, Aston Martin, BMW-MINI Motor Company and Radical, will be there to show their paces on the track or on the British themed paddock area, where people can get their hands on some of the best British products on the market.
Children between 3-6 years old (up to 125cm) can take free rides in battery powered S.U.V and sports cars developed by Mercury Dynamic. The e-cars will drive around a safe track next to the paddock, running only up to 12 km/h, fast enough to be fun but slow enough to be safe. Families can also sample the finest international delicacies including traditional British afternoon tea from Tiptree, and fish & chips provided by ACE Cafe.
Other activities will include One Marque Series races, Ladies Regulation Time Trial, Hot Laps, Race Driver Certification Course, Vintage car showcase, Clean tech: CHARGE!, Junior Karting, British entertainment, British brands pavilion and music concert.
