When I take my four year old daughter anywhere, I always like to know if there will be entertainment for her. Entertainment for children is actually my main selling point for our weekend activities. It’s hard enough doing normal things with a child, but in addition to that we now do those normal things in China. Such activities as grocery shopping, doctors appointments, and picking up dry cleaning all become confusing and frustrating in a new country with or without a child. Looking for a school is another thing that is confusing, with or without a child in tow.
That’s why I was excited to hear that there would be activities for children at the 2017 Beijing International School Expo. So while parents shop around for schools and gather information about education in Beijing, the kids can play without wondering where mama went off to. I made a list of some of the activities to get excited about. I am sure to be there to to test the activities and meet parents.
Beanstalk is entertaining the small ones with a Lego area.
Huijia Private School has prepared two model horses from the horse riding club.
Ivy Education Group will be creating bouncy balls with the kids.
Club Med will organize a kids paint corner to get the creativity flowing.
UTMost Squash Club shall have the kids burn off some energy with a squash game.
Pinmo Art is creating a buzz with calligraphy lessons.
Shanglearning will be building paper airplanes.
Utown is a great place for a family day out, and has loads of culinary delights I can’t wait to savor. Don’t forget to stop by Old Navy and Dunkin Donuts to make the day complete.
