While last year’s Burger Cup was indeed epic, with almost every burger joint in the city in attendance and a variety of musical acts, the Beijinger team has been working tirelessly on making this year’s celebration (May 20-21, 11am-8pm) more burger-y than ever by including plenty of activities for kids and families to enjoy whilst devouring a burger… or two.
First off, there will be a family resting area. Don’t let the name fool you, as there are plenty of games to keep your kids entertained, while mom and dad take a load off or chat it up. Some of the games that will be included in this area include mini bowling, bull riding (we guarantee a real bull will not be used for this), and limbo.
At the south end of Galaxy SOHO, there will also be another play area presented by Limai Chinese American International School, Etonkids International Bilingual Kindergartens, and Kidsmile, where they will be organizing an even more extensive lineup of fun games and activities. These include but aren’t limited to a water balloon toss, musical chairs, face painting, and a ring toss. Need we mention that there will be lots of prizes to be won. Who doesn’t like prizes? This combined with our program of live music and famous Beijing DJs is guaranteed not to disappoint.
Make sure to buy your tickets early before the event to ensure that you get in without having to queue, and also receive some super cool swag (note: while supplies last) so that you are dressed appropriately for this year’s wild west theme. If you wait till arriving, unfortunately, we can’t guarantee entry as thousands of people have already purchased their tickets and much more are expected to arrive the day of.
