Next weekend, August 26 from 10am-3pm, athletes young and old will be heading over to International School of Beijing’s (ISB’s) dome for Sports Beijing’s annual Festival of Sports. We don’t need to list for you all of the benefits that a fun sport can provide for your little ones, so if you are looking to get involved in a team sport or other fitness activities this is the must attend event of the month. Best of all it’s free!
New and returning members age 4 years and above can come by and register for one (or more) of Sports Beijing’s fall 2017 activities. Parents will also have the chance to talk to the coaches, while kids can try out sports and activities such as basketball, soccer, kung fu, rugby, karate, lacrosse, and street dance to name just a few.
Sports Beijing is a not-for-profit community sports organization for junior athletes in Beijing. They offer a broad variety of recreational and competitive youth sports programs, professionally coached and aimed at developing physical, technical and social skills. Their activities are designed for participants of all backgrounds and abilities.
This event at ISB is a chance to get course information, connect with the community and partners (Roundabout, United Family Hospital, Vibrant Communities, THIRST, MaiAqua, Sunny Dental and many more), and find out even more about Sports Beijing.
