We are super exited for our upcoming annual Halloween party at the end of this month. If you are a bit like us, then this is the time of year that you go and try on costumes. We have asked around to find out where Halloween decorations and costumes are stocked in stores. But be fast as many families are sourcing costumes at this exact moment, things might sell out fast. The internet is almost always your safest bet through such sites as Boapals.com and taobao.com, but trying on costumes and wigs is half of the Halloween fun. So, why don’t you try to make one yourself with the cool ideas compiled here?
Roundabout
This charitable organization just so happens to have biggest Halloween department in Beijing. Get yourself to Shunyi before these gently used and economical items are all gone. Find the location here.
Jenny Wang’s and Jenny Lou’s
These two stores have many locations all over town and some even have Halloween costumes and decorations. Find locations for Jenny Lou’s here or Jenny Wang’s here.
Metro
The biggest, cleanest supermarket around. I personally love going here and it looks like they have a Halloween section as well. Find locations here and a couple things you need to know before shopping here.
Carrefour Supermarket
Big and international supermarkets seem to be the way to go for Halloween. It is very likely that you’ll be able to find all of the essential elements to a successful Halloween here. Find locations for the Carrefour nearest you here.
Walmart
Good old Walmart. Nothing like Walmart in the USA, but it also has a good selection of Halloween goodies including all of the essential candy. Find locations here.
Toy Stores
This seems like a no brainer, but I did not think about this one till some mothers pointed it out to me. Usually we avoid toy stores because of the temper tantrums, but there are definitely fantastic costumes at the Toys R Us in Solana.
