Hi everyone! My name is Spud!
Background: Spud was found trying to cross a busy road in Wangjing. He was very frightened and was grateful to be rescued! After being taken inside, Spud showed his rescuer how much of an adorable and friendly dog he is, who just loves to play and please.
Personality: Spud is fully house trained and is so happy all the time! He loves walks but can get frightened in loud places and near busy roads, so it’s best to avoid them unless you have the time to build up his confidence. He knows how to walk on a leash.
Breed, Sex & Age: Male, small mixed breed, brown and white
Medical notes: Spud is healthy and has been vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas/ticks at ICVS! He is ready for his neuter surgery.
Post-adoption care: The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) has enrolled Spud into their Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Pet Adoption Benefits Program. ICVS will provide his new family with significant discounts (up to 50 percent) on his vaccinations and accompanying health examinations during the first year with the new adoption family.
Annual Vaccination Packages: ICVS has wonderful wellness and annual vaccination packages to keep Spud healthy and free of worms, fleas, and ticks. All the vaccinations and deworming he needs every year are included and the packages are discounted by 40-50 percent! The vaccination packages also include unlimited examinations throughout the year.
Vaccination Certificate: With Spud’s next rabies vaccination, ICVS will issue his new family the official Beijing Animal Health and Immunity Certificate (e.g., vaccination redbook) at no charge! He needs the official vaccination red book to prove he has been legally and properly rabies vaccinated and to move to other cities or to leave China with his new family.
Official Spay/Neuter Certificate for Dogs: After my neuter surgery at ICVS, the hospital will issue Spud’s new family the official Spay/Neuter Certificate that will provide his owner with 50 percent discounts (e.g., up to RMB 500 savings) on his dog license registration fee at the Public Security Bureau.
Pet Import/Export Counselling: ICVS will provide Spud’s new family with unlimited relocation counselling and accurate information to take him with them when it is time to move to another city or to another country.
Door-to-Door Pet Transport Service: ICVS can help Spud’s new family arrange for door-to-door car transport for appointments at the hospital.
