Hosted by Cultural Keys, a company that aims to help foreigners understand and access modern life and traditional culture in China, this kid-friendly, free to attend market offers loads of holiday snacks, gifts, and activities to get you in the mood for the holidays.
Come ready to nosh, because there will be plenty of delicious nibbles on offer, like meat and vegetarian pies by Hutong’er Pies, Renschi’s South African Cuisine, and vegan-friendly treats by Halo Hummus and Yeyo Coconut Yoghurts. Make sure to wash it down with Ethiopian coffee from Habesha and Jiuqian’s mulled wine. For take-home mincemeats, preserves, and chutneys, Pawaaz Spice Route Concepts and locally renowned Bubba’s Pantry are on hand.
Don’t worry if you still have some shopping to do, since there are a myriad of choices for thoughtful, handmade gifts. Stock up on soaps, beauty products and essential oils from Sharbath and Velveteen’s Secret Potions.
