Background: Cavour was rescued in December from a compound in Sanlitun along with his sister Camilla. They have been living with a foster family and are friendly and socialized.
Personality: Cavour is a sweet kitten, very shy but easy going with other cats. He has not had any experiences yet with dogs. He would need a patient family but is comfortable around people, can be petted and enjoys being pampered and likes belly rubs. He is very playful and has a lot of energy.
Ideal home: Cavour would be very happy with an individual, a couple or a family with older children (8 yrs. or older). Cavour enjoys the company of other cats, so ideally, he would be adopted with his sister Camilla or by a family with another cat.
Breed, Sex & Age: Six-months old, male, short-haired ginger tabby.
Medical Notes: Cavour is very healthy and is already vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and neutered.
Post-adoption care: The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) has enrolled Cavour in their Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Pet Adoption Benefits Program. ICVS will provide his new family with significant discounts (up to 50%) on his vaccinations, accompanying examinations and neuter surgery during his first year of life with his new adoptive family.
Annual Vaccination Packages: ICVS has wonderful wellness and annual vaccination packages to keep Cavour healthy and free of parasites, fleas, and ticks. All of the vaccinations he needs every year are included and the packages are discounted by 40-50 percent.
Official Vaccination Certificate: With rabies vaccination, ICVS will issue Cavour’s new family the official Beijing Animal Health and Immunity Certificate (e.g., vaccination red book) at no charge. He needs the official vaccination red book to prove he has been legally and properly rabies vaccinated to move to another city or to leave China with his family.
Pet Import/Export Counseling: ICVS will provide Cavour’s family with unlimited relocation counseling and accurate information to take him with them when it is time to move to another city or to another country. ICVS can provide microchipping, legal rabies vaccinations and rabies antibody titer testing that is required to export pets to the EU and other countries.
Door-to-Door Pet Transport Service: ICVS can help Cavour’s new family arrange for a car and driver service to take us door-to-door for his appointments at the hospital! Contact ICVS: www.ICVSASIA.com
