Ivy MI Kindergarten Arbor Day Activity
Ivy Multiple Intelligences (MI) Kindergarten, Beijing Lijing Campus carried out the educational activity program, “Grow Up with Trees” on March 8. Each class organized various events such as guiding kids to plant and water trees in person. This activity aims to strengthen kids’ manual dexterity and established their awareness of caring for plants.
Harrow Beijing Students Wins Big in China Thinks Big Competition
Two teams representing Harrow Beijing made it to the national final of the 2017-2018 “China Thinks Big” in March, and stood out against 1,000 competitors. One of the Harrow teams, A Gift of Life, composed of (left to right) Sherry R., Tina Z., Tracy S., and Ken H., was awarded the overall third prize and shortlisted for the global final in the United States.
WAB Student Wins Prestigious Writing Awards
Grade 12 student Alinnah Qiao won three titles in the Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards on March 27. Out of more than 346,000 entries worldwide, Qiao earned two gold and one silver award. Past winners include Truman Capote, Sylvia Plath, and Stephen King.
ACAMIS Learning Service Grant for DCB Student
Dulwich College Beijing (DCB) has been presented with a prestigious ACAMIS (Association of China and Mongolia International Schools) Learning Service Grant, thanks to the initiative of their Head Girl, Yi Wen (Year 12). Her proposal was to help those less fortunate through the medium of debate. ACAMIS has provided USD 1,500 to support this project.
