When Should My Child Start Getting Braces? Aug 18

Marbling Painting Workshop at New Hope, Aug 19
All ages. New Hope Creative Expressions presents a marbling painting workshop at Beijing United Family New Hope Oncology Center. Marbling painting is the process of manipulating floating paints on the surface of a thick solution, producing mesmerizing patterns that bear a similarity to marble, and then carefully transfering them to a surface, such as paper or fabric. Piano Carnival: International Masters Gala 2018, Aug 19

World-class pianists Jerome Lowenthal, Pavlina Dokovska, Graham Scott, Daniel Shapiro and Vladimir Valjarevic are joined by cellist Jean-Michel Fonteneau and violinist Herbert Greenberg for this piano extravaganza. Hear works including Bernstein’s Candide Overture, arranged for two pianos, and Smetana’s Rondo for Two Pianos, Eight Hands at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA).
