British Ball 2018: The Knight’s Tale, Oct 20
This year’s British Ball theme is “The Knight’s Tale”, the first tale from Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, written in the 14th century. October Mentor Walks, Oct 19
Mentor Walks brings together established women leaders and emerging women leaders in the community to connect, learn, mentor and share experiences. As the walk goes on, the mentors and their mentees discuss professional and personal challenges, successes, aspirations, and lessons learned, as well as receive honest feedback and meaningful guidance. Mentees have the opportunity to select a mentor based on their preferences and availability. Mentor and mentee groups are typically 3-5 people. The Last Pig Beijing Premiere, Oct 20
Camera Stylo premieres the acclaimed documentary The Last Pig, a lyrical meditation on what it means to be a sentient creature with the power to kill. Deeply immersive, the film follows a pig farmer through his final year of slaughtering pigs.
