Pet of the Week is our bi-monthly column where we feature rescued animals looking for forever-loving families. As we get primary information about these cuddly fellows from our content partners, The Lost Puppies of Beijing, we recommend prospective pet adopters to contact them for more details about the animals. Ready to be the forever loving family of any of these rescued dogs? Here are some things you need to know about owning a pet in Beijing.
About The Lost Puppies of Beijing
The Lost Puppies of Beijing is a team of volunteers who rescue dogs and bring them to a veterinary clinic for any emergency care required. Collectively, they work together through a WeChat group to find a foster home for the rescued dogs, give them any medicine they need, and rehabilitate and make them ready for their forever family. The team raises funds in many different ways to pay for health checks and vet bills, as well as boarding at a pet shelter if no foster care is available. The Lost Puppies of Beijing team aims to find a permanent home for the lost dogs through sharing their rescue stories with everyone.
