The importance of business and entrepreneurial experiences for teens is increasingly recognized. Are you or your teen ready to leave the nest and take the challenge? One step in the right direction would be to sign up for this upcoming BCIS Avenir Business Competition to encourage and incubate entrepreneurial endeavors.
No experience is necessary to take part, and all you need is to present your innovative ideas and have fun learning entrepreneurship through this competition that features professional guidance!
The event, to be held on March 16-17, will be conducted in English and is associated with Queensland University of Technology. It will be separated into two divisions: a Junior Division (Grade 9-10) and a Senior Division (Grade 11-12).
An experienced entrepreneur, or mentor, will guide students on-site throughout the first day, and there will also be talks from local entrepreneurs to inspire students with their stories. The last day will conclude with students pitching their business plans to a panel of judges, and will end with an awards ceremony with prizes including RMB 1,000, gift certificates, and more.
