‘La Vie en Rose’, Now-Aug 11

NVC Lab: Expressing Anger, Aug 8

And, where the bloody hell is the first ring road? “Looking for the Master Plan” is a crash course in Beijing’s urban development. Through this talk you will get a clear understanding of how Beijing became the city it is today. Using their collection of original maps of Beijing, Beijing Postcards has created a very visual presentation of the development of the Northern capital, from a maze of hutong alleyways to a megacity with over 20 million inhabitants. Hayao Miyazaki Hisaishi Anime Audiovisual Series Themed Concert, Aug 10
All ages. This themed concert based on the works of classic animations from Hayao Miyazaki, features eight musical pieces from films like City of Sky, Spirited Away, Kiki’s Delivery Service, and more. Artist Talk: Vocal Arts of Opera, Aug 10

BACA Art Centre has invited Frank Flade from Germany to conduct an artist talk centered around “The Vocal Arts of Opera.” This lecture has been created entirely for vocalists and opera enthusiasts.
