Jiang Zimo (Grade 3)
In this picture, I painted four tastes: sour, sweet, bitter, and spicy.
Sour: There are many limes because they are very sour. I also drew some yellow lemons to make it look more beautiful.
Sweet: A lot of candy.
Bitter: I painted tea, coffee, medicine, and balsam pears. There are some “regret medicines” in it. [From a Chinese saying, “to take regret medicine,” meaning to wish you hadn’t done something.] It has a special meaning. That is, if you do something you regret, it will naturally be bitter in your heart. If regret goes into the bitter medicine, will it be even more bitter?
Spicy: the last taste is spicy. I used yellow sweet pepper to highlight red pepper.
