Bring out the kneepads and foam fingers. This year’s JPAC volleyball tournament season has begun.
Thursday, October 24 marked the first of a four-day tournament at Western Academy of Beijing (WAB), with boys’ and girls’ teams from international schools in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong coming together to compete. Our city was also represented by teams from the International School of Beijing (ISB).
The volleyball tournament is one of a series of events held under the aegis of the Asia Pacific Activities Conference (APAC), which gives international schools in the region the chance not only to compete with each other in sporting and artistic competitions, but also by visiting each other to experience different countries and cultures.
